✨ OUTER SPACE: An Update on The Journey✨

I’ll be honest, sharing what I’m building has been harder than I imagined. I posted once and then retreated, hiding in the quiet. I’m learning to be seen, to show the work, the grief, the love, and the unfolding of this journey in all its tenderness.
OUTER SPACE, my newest baby and training of life, is slowly coming alive. Partial flooring is in, the reflection wall is shaping the energy of the room, and our purple statement wall now honors my godmother, Rhonda Hopkins. 💜

I’m filled with gratitude for the initial seeders who have gifted their time, energy, and resources: covering the costs of paint, blessing us with painting the faux lime wash walls exactly how I imagined them, and taking on the labor for the reflection wall and flooring. This week I also learned what efflorescence means and got to see it firsthand in the wall. I’m so grateful to have a landlord who is not only supportive but actively working alongside me to move things forward and care for the space as we bring this vision to life. 🌱✨

Next up, we will purchase and install the remainder of the flooring, add furniture, weatherize, and build apothecary and herbal garden shelving. Every step continues to be a labor of love.

This space is for learning, for creativity, for rest, for dreaming, and it is also a reflection of my own journey. 💫
