Established in 2013 by the Christ family in honor of the teachers who guided their sons, Patrick and Jack, through their years at Baltimore Lab School, the Christ Award recognizes one faculty member each year who never stops seeking new ways to grow.
The way our providers weave occupational therapy into the school day is one of the things that sets BLS apart โ and no one embodies that innovative spirit more than Jen. Since 2017, sheโs been the creative force behind so much of what makes our building hum, from the Trike Trail and Pedalpalooza to โBody Feelings Fridayโ and the SEEDS for Success framework, shaping daily life for students across all three divisions.
Jen, thank you for your clinical brilliance, your creativity, and your dedication to helping every student understand and trust their own bodies and minds. This honor is so well deserved. ๐

Yesterday, Baltimore Lab School celebrated graduationโand it was about so much more than caps, gowns, and diplomas. It was a celebration of growth, confidence, resilience, and the future now opening in front of each member of the Class of 2026.
These seniors worked hard to reach this dayโwith determination, courage, and the support of families, teachers, friends, and loved ones who believed in them every step of the way. They discovered their strengths, built confidence, faced challenges, and showed what it means to keep moving forward.
The dayโs speakers reminded us of that same spirit. ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ป๐ป-๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ inspired our graduates with his story of perseverance, self-discovery, and learning to honor the way he experiences the world. ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐๐ถ๐บ ๐๐๐ฟ๐ป๐, selected as faculty speaker by the graduating class, reflected on what it means to be a Baltimore Lab School graduate: a critical thinker, problem-solver, responsible self-advocate, and engaged and compassionate global citizen. ๐
