Humdinga

It’s been almost a full year of not playing live shows and honestly, it’s becuase I fell out of love with the music scene. Luckily, my love for music itself hasn’t faltered. I remembered I don’t do this for numbers, for “success”, or to make money. I do this to have fun and share that energy with everyone willing to listen. I do it to connect to people who want to express themselves and feel freedom in their ideas.

The Denver scene for me personally has been rough. It’s saturated with a lot of moving parts in every department. Posts that ask for local DJ’s are overwhelming and not my way of getting a foot in the door. I remember feeling like a crucial part of the Maryland scene with the companies I worked with, but those opportunities didn’t come to me in the same way when I moved out here. The entire landscape of the music scene seems to have shifted in the last 3 years. It’s a mental grind to go out and make new relationships in the scene, although I have met some amazing people here who share some incredible ideas. I realize that I am the only who can change my success. I have to do so by changing my mentality and perspective.

I want this year to be the year I fully invest myself back into music. I’m going to create two promo mix’s of varying styles to send out to some local crews but I’m going to need your help in tagging some people/crews that would be open to listening. Styles will vary from drum and bass, halftime, UKG, and more.

I’m excited to see what this year brings for me and Humdinga.

I know it's been alittle quiet over here since my last performance, so I'm really excited to share with you 2 new tracks, Aperçu & Lovesick.

Both came from deep parts of myself that I've only been able to express recently. Enjoy the flavors.
