Goodbyes are hard 💔

To our patrons, neighbors, loyal friends and patterson park family:

The end of the month marks 20 years on our little corner of Eastern and Milton Aves. It also will be the end of our tenure here.

Thanks to everyone who's supported us over these decades- it's been an honor to serve all of you.

The last two years have been the hardest ones since the great recession. Back then, I was younger and willing to sleep on a pullout couch inside of the shop to make ends meet. This time around between labor shortages, supply shortages, 60 hour work weeks and my own aging, it's become very clear that this is the best decision for me, my family and my health.

Our last official day open will be Halloween, but we'll be open a few days in early November to say our goodbyes, sell the last of our stock and clear out all the odds and ends we've collected over the years.

It's a bittersweet decision, but another great local restaurateur once told me, "a good owner knows when to let go". We love you. Thanks for everything.

This pandemic is still going strong despite all of us being tired of it. The restaurant business is changing daily- keep supporting your servers, delivery drivers, baristas and bartenders!

Hey friends, we're dealing with a breakthrough case of covid that's left us too shortstaffed for a busy Saturday. We'll be back open on Sunday with shorter hours from 8-12 . Sorry for any inconvenience!

We have pumpkin chai and pumpkin lattes! Get them hot or iced. Fall is almost here!

We're honoring our workers and keeping the doors shut tomorrow. Happy Labor Day! See you on Tuesday.
