Without your help, we cannot succeed.
With your help, we cannot fail.

As we reflect and regroup after a long Memorial Day weekend, we want to offer our sincere gratitude to every Taps for Veterans volunteer who gave their time, their talent, and their heart in service to our mission.

Whether you sounded those 24 notes on a quiet street corner, in a cemetery, at a memorial, or before a gathering of family and friends โ€” you made a difference.

You reminded America that remembrance is not just something we say. It is something we do.

And through the live sounding of Taps, you helped ensure that our fallen and our veterans were honored with dignity, reverence, and the respect they earned.

But as President Abraham Lincoln once said, โ€œLet us strive on to finish the work we are in.โ€

And so, our mission continues.

Every day, families across the country are requesting a live sounding of Taps to honor a loved one who served. That is why Taps for Veterans exists โ€” to make sure no veteranโ€™s final farewell is met with silence or a recording, but with the solemn, human tribute of live Taps.

We need your help to carry this promise forward.

If you are a bugler or trumpeter, please consider volunteering with Taps for Veterans.
