Please take this up with your legal and administrative departments, it's fair in every aspect whether it amounts to 1-5 dollars by your calculations, its a show of good faith and upright business dealings because as of now you're in breach of contract to the thousands who utilize your site worldwide.
It's actionable as a class action in a court of law and I'm certain many drivers are suffering because of the site being down, compensation not apologies!
