As we prepare ourselves for a busy week ahead, let’s remember how important it is to stay open for God to orchestrate the events in our lives. Our goal should be to become instruments that God can use. When God gives us a song (plan for our life), we must execute it in a way that makes Him proud, and minister it all the way to the end, even if we don't understand the lyrics or like the melody. When He unexpectedly changes the tempo, we want to be alert so that we can keep up and not lose our place in the song. Sometimes God adds or removes other instruments in the middle of a song, but no matter what, let’s remain diligent in our quest to finish the song because it was written specifically for us. What kind of instrument are you? Are you in tune with the song that The Maestro has given you? One of the most important attributes of a good instrument is to always be in tune with your song. In the orchestra of life, is your music on one accord with God? Our goal should be that we are all in tune and in sync with God and His orchestration of our lives. Following the music that God gives us can sometimes feel redundant, boring or confusing, but we have to be very careful with the adjustments, rewrites and edits that we decide to make because it could drastically change our song. Family, if your sound is out of tune, and a little off, or you've decided to move to the beat of your own drum, STOP RIGHT NOW and get back in the rhythm of a life that God produced for you. He knows our story and He knows our song, and our melody is to be shared with others. God's Word tells us to make a JOYFUL NOISE, so lets just make sure it's in tune and pleasing to the ears of others so that they will be drawn to Him. Have a Melodious and Marvelous Sunday.
