Meet Debra, our President & majority Owner!

She began working in construction at 20 years old.

Debra graduated from UMBC with a degree in Computer Science, a Masters Degree from Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business, a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, and several industry trade certifications. She also serves on the Board of Directors of ABC Greater Baltimore.

Several years ago Debra certified DSM as a Woman-Owned business with the both Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) as an MBE and with the City of Baltimore as a WBE.

Debra has a background that combines technical skills, project management and construction experience that gives her a unique perspective on the industry.

Today, Debra can be found working on project bids, financials, business development, general management, and peeking in on any of DSM's job sites!

DSM recently finished replacing the retaining wall on River Road - commonly called Ilchester, after hundreds of years the old wall had begun to collapse. The crews at DSM worked tirelessly to get the new retaining wall up! 🏗
