On June 19th, 1865, the last enslaved people in the United States learned they were free. More than a century and a half later, we celebrate that freedom and the resilience, history, and progress it represents.
Today, we reflect, we celebrate, and we recommit to a healthier, more equitable Baltimore for everyone!
