Don’t let your dog get fried. 🐶☀️ The heat is no joke and this heat dome is turning our sidewalks into stovetops. Once a surface hits 125 degrees, it becomes super dangerous for your pet. A few more tips to keep them safe: ✅Walk early morning or after sunset when the ground has cooled. ✅Stick to grass and dirt paths instead of pavement if you can. ✅Watch for limping, licking paws, or refusing to walk. Those are burn signs. ✅Booties are cheap. Vet bills are not. ✅Never leave a dog in a parked car. Not even for a minute. ✅Fresh water everywhere, always. Do the 7 second hand test before every walk. If you cannot hold your hand on it, neither can they. Stay cool! Stay hydrated! And stay classy! #HeatDome #dogs 07/02/2026
