This morning, we’re celebrating the life of our friend Precious Fraling.

Many of you who have worked with us in the past 5 years know Precious and her stories, have pulled weeds, harvested cherry tomatoes, or put spinach seeds in the soil beside her in the recovery garden at the Glenwood Life Center.

For those wanting to celebrate from afar, the service starts at 11am at Govans Presbyterian Church.

Takeyia S. ‘Precious’ Fraling, a peer counselor at Glenwood Life Counseling Center and community activist, dies Takeyia S. “Precious” Fraling, who overcame her own addiction and later worked on Glenwood Life Counseling Center in Govans, died of respiratory failure April 28 at the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center.
