Let’s make understanding the difference between a “weather watch” and “warning” a piece of cake … crab cake, that is. 😉

Think of severe weather like making a Maryland crab cake:

🦀 WATCH = The ingredients are on the counter. The crab meat, Old Bay, and breadcrumbs are all there. Severe weather is possible, but the crab cake hasn’t been made yet. Stay alert, review your plans, and be ready to act.

🦀 WARNING = The crab cake is in the pan (or already on your plate!). Severe weather is happening, about to happen, or expected soon. Take action now.

Remember:
👀 Watch = Be Prepared
🚨 Warning = Take Action

When severe weather is on the menu, make sure preparedness is on your plate, too! 🌦️
