Big News! Ripken STEM is officially in Utah thanks to the generous support of The Kahlert Foundation. This week marked an exciting milestone as educators gathered for the first phase of training that will support the installation of 13 elementary school STEM Centers throughout Salt Lake City. These Centers will provide students with hands-on learning experiences designed to spark curiosity, strengthen problem-solving skills, and inspire the next generation of innovators.

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. As we gather with family and community, we pause in gratitude for those who gave so much for the freedoms we share.

For over 17 years, University of Maryland Medical System has been a proud partner of the Foundation helping expand access to STEM programs, Summer Camp, and more for millions of kids nationwide.

We are incredibly grateful to them for their commitment to opening doors, sparking curiosity, and shaping brighter futures every day.

Camp is more than just fun, it’s a life-changing experience every kid deserves. At the Ripken Foundation Summer Camp in Aberdeen, kids build confidence, form lasting friendships, and learn valuable life skills in a safe and supportive environment.

For many of the children we serve, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to simply be a kid, explore new interests, and create unforgettable memories.
