What Works Studio is thrilled to have coordinated Baltimore's first-ever drone show, set to debut at Artscape 2023. This awe-inspiring event is produced on behalf of our client, the University of Maryland Medical Center in celebration of its 200th Anniversary.

The aerial drone exhibition is a love letter to Baltimore and promises to illuminate the night sky and will feature the city's beloved icon and What Works Studio brainchild, Mr. Trash Wheel.

We developed and pitched the concept and are grateful that UMMC brought us on to execute the vision. We provided overall creative direction, developed the content, and sourced the drone show production team. Additionally, we helped garner media coverage and provided project management.

We appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with the University of Maryland Medical Center, the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts, Profiles, and Open Sky Productions.

The drones will take to the sky on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 7:40 p.m. Make your way to the Artscape Main Stage near Maryland Institute College of Art's Mount Royal Station to enjoy the show.
