Late night ending for baseball...In the last competition of the spring sport championships, the Urbana Hawks defeated the Dulaney Lions 10-2 in the Class 4A final to win their first state championship.

In an exciting and very competitive Class 3A final, Northern-C walked off in the bottom of the 8th to take home their 1st state championship since 2015 in a win over the Chesapeake-AA Cougars 8-7.

In dramatic fashion the Hereford Bulls defeated the Kent Island Buccaneers 3-2 from a walkoff in the bottom of the 7th inning.

In Class 3A Baseball, the Sherwood Warriors edged out the Stephen Decatur Seahawks 2-1. This is their 5th title in 6 years.

The Huntingtown Hurricanes defeated the Mount Hebron Vikings 3-1 to win back-to-back state championships.

It went into the 8th inning when the Broadneck Bruins scored the one run that defeated the Urbana Hawks for the 2026 Class 4A Softball State Championship 1-0.

Liberty Lions defeated Patterson Mill 6-5 in 8 innings for the Class 1A Baseball State Championship.
