UMBC Transit Service Alert | May 28 – June 11

Chesapeake Arena will be hosting several high school graduation ceremonies on campus beginning Thursday, May 28 through Thursday, June 11. Due to heavy traffic, road closures, and congestion, UMBC Transit will operate modified campus service during graduation events.

📍 ALL on-campus pickups & drop-offs will take place at:Hilltop Rd. – Fine Arts Loop (Taxi Pickup Location 2)

Affected Routes:
🚌 Arbutus
🚌 BWI MARC
🚌 Catonsville
🚌 Downtown
🚌 Route 40
🚌 Arundel MARC
🚌 Paradise
⚠️ Paradise Route riders may also experience delays or temporary stop impacts at:
• TRC @ Linden Ave.
• Westland Blvd. & Circle Dr.
• Westland Blvd. & Courtney Rd.

Please allow additional travel time ⏰ during this period.

🚔 Campus Police Advisory:
Traffic near the arena will be extremely heavy beginning at 8 a.m. Riders and campus visitors are encouraged to avoid entering campus from I-195 when possible.
