Cylburn Arboretum Friends

Mountain mint is a clump-forming, aromatic perennial native to eastern North America. It is a vigorous grower that spreads readily in the right conditions, but unlike many true mints, it is not invasive. At Cylburn, we love using it in large drifts along woodland borders, where it attracts a wide variety of pollinators.

🌱Mansion Open House - Friday, Saturday and Sunday (10AM-2PM) - Enjoy our extended July hours and visit the historic Cylburn Mansion before strolling through the gardens in full bloom. No registration required.
🌱NEC Drop-In - Saturday (11AM-12PM) - In July we will explore the many bird species that live in and visit Cylburn Arboretum. This week, build your own binoculars. No registration required.
🌱Garden Drop-In - Sunday (2:30PM-4:30PM) - Drop by the gardens to see what we’re working on and pick up expert gardening tips. No registration required.

Step inside to admire the Mansion's elegant architecture, then stroll through the summer gardens in full bloom. Visit us on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, beginning Saturday, July 4.

Admission is free, and no registration is required.
