It was a wonderful surprise to win the Legislator of the Year Award from the Maryland Tech Council. Our state is home to so many amazing colleges and universities that provide the research foundation for treatments that are curing cancers, sickel cell, and many other diseases. Maryland's talented life sciences workforce is innovating and transforming lives. That's why I am always happy to support efforts to expand this sector in Maryland!
