Celeebrate Us Workforce Training

Celeebrate Us Workforce Training is dedicating the month of June to uplifting, encouraging and edifying some beautiful men. My 1st June event takes place tomorrow at the Dorsey Run Correctional Facility in Jessup Maryland. I am absolutely delighted to be reunited with some wonderful colleagues from the DOL's Reentry Unit and members of the Talent Acquisition Team from Luminis Health. Special shout out to Ms. Ellen Bredt for inviting me to join her team with conducting mock interviews. What a blessing to contribute to the career journey of 9 young men preparing to return to the community following their incarceration. On this day back in 2024 I joined Ellen, Troy and Jamal for mock interviews for the beautiful women of MCIW.

June 1st is Monday. All month long I am going to be showcasing and celebrating some wonderful Celeebrate Us Workforce Training "MIGHTY MEN". The entire month of June will include activities, special promotions and some heartfelt stories of these wonderful men. This weekend, I am sharing some special moments with some very special men. Up first are some young men who were sent to me by their beautiful moms. The "mother and son" phenomenon needs to be studied LOL 🤣🤣🤣🤣😆😂🤣🤣. Meet Robert, an Information Technician student from 2020. Robert's mom was fed up. Every job Robert had tapped into and benefitted from his pristine computer skills, but never paid him properly. His beautiful mom found me on IG and signed him up. Thanks to my amazing partners at Baltimore City Community College, Robert received a Cyber Warrior Scholarship. Robert's mom called me and thanked me. She was absolutely delighted that Robert got the proper certifications to enhance his earning capacity. WOO HOO mom!!!!!!

So what happens when you take your career seriously???? Your toys get bigger. Congratulations to my Sterile Processing Technician G.O.A.T and Celeebrate Us Workforce Training graduate Brittane on her beautiful new toys. I have heard nothing but good things about her career journey since she came to me 4 years ago. Congratulations sweetie.
