Experience, Care, Compassion

What are you looking for in a speech therapist for your child or loved one? Firstly you are looking for experience. That is something I proudly bring to the table. My eight years of clinical experience in a large variety of settings has contributed to a skill set that I am proud of. Working extensively with children in the public school setting as well as in private practice has given me a keen knowledge and understanding of a large spectrum of Speech, Language and fluency disorders. In addition, I spent my first years as a therapist working with geriatric patients in the skilled nursing facility setting. I continue to work per diem in a number of skilled nursing facilities in the Greater Baltimore area. This has provided me with a vast experience treating adults suffering from various medical conditions that result in speech impairments such as Aphasia, Dysphagia, Dysarthria, Aphonia/Dysphonia, and Cognitive Communication deficits.

We are also excited to bring another dimension of therapy to the table. Mental health/psychotherapy services. We are excited to bring my husband, Albert Ba**er M.S. LCPC to the team as clinical director/therapist. As a Rabbi, he has a strong desire to help and counsel people. After spending years as an educator, Albert dived into the world of Therapy. He has worked with a wide variety of disorders to include but not limited to: Anxiety, Depression, Executive Functioning Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD and Addictions. His holistic approach makes him a sought after therapist offering individual, couples, family and group therapy. Albert truly cares and has a great rapport with adult and pediatric clients of all backgrounds.

At Let’s Chat you are treated with care. You are family, you come first. As a small therapy practice, you are receiving care directly from the practice owner (Either Albert or Myself). As we grow, we are looking for therapists that share a similar vision: dedication to individualized care. What more can you ask for?

Compassion is our motto. As a child of disabled parents, I view each of my patients (child and adult) as an individual, as does Albert. Families are counseled and educated so they can carry over activities and skills in the home setting. In our patients we see ourselves and our own family. If you are looking for client centered, compassionate care- you have come to the right place.
