Friends we are looking for gentle “dude” horses/mules to add to our herd. Preferably stout geldings but open to all. Please keep us in mind if you know of any looking for a new home

The Dude Wrangler is a newspaper-magazine published from 1948 - 1965 to promote tourism in the Texas Hill Country - featuring the beginnings of the great dude ranch industry. The magazine was created by Rose Whitley Crowell, (AKA Billie and Mamaw) who helped her father (William Wallace Whitley) open the ranch to guests in 1937. She ran the ranch with her husband Dee Crowell until the late '80's.
Chock full of stories, photos, poems, western fashion, weddings, and the 1950's western vibe- it's pure nostalgia! 🤠
