Amazing shout out to everyone from Penobscot Veterinary Services, LLC who took a team building day today and decided to try oil painting for the first time!!!! Everyone did amazing and thank you all for your enthusiam and love to learn new things! First large group since the pandemic! Felt wonderful to see everyone creative

Just taught for the first time in two years to this lovely mother/daughter who came out for a private art session. If the last two years have taught us anything it’s not waiting anymore….spend time with people you love. Make memories. Do things you’re scared to try. Now is the time we have!

Felt great to teach again 🙂 and see such happy faces with the outcomes!

Life for the past two years has felt exactly like this piece. A life before the pandemic and one distinctly after. Not too altered or different, in fact very similar.....but a clear and obvious divide in the life we had before the pandemic and our lives now...our memories and habits split in two. After two years of "flattening the curve", I can say I need to live again. I need to travel, create, be creative with friends and colleagues. I need to see and explore beyond what my feet and car can take me to. I need to breathe again. I need to reignite what I love.

Cant believe its been about two years since teaching an in person art class. I will be getting back at it and opening up for classes again so if you're interested in the line up that Kris Sader and myself will be doing, go ahead and send me your email in a DM.

I also need to desperately do a spring cleaning. If you took a class from me in the past and left a wet painting in my studio, please come and pick up the works outside my studio sometime in the next three weeks.I'll be putting all the past works out in my entry way for one month for people to grab at their leisure. The building is open Monday - Friday 8am-6pm. The Treehouse is getting a good spring cleaning.
