Hello, Iá ora na, malo e leilei, bula! 👋😊

I've been relatively behind the scenes in CircAsana, so thought it would be nice to reintroduce myself here. I'm Amy, one of the humans behind CircAsana.

Once upon a time, I quit my corporate law job to run away with the circus. A few adventures later, I'm now on a sailboat in the South Pacific, making circuses in remote island communities 🏝

My circus specialties are acroyoga / adagio and handstands 🤸‍♀️ although I love to dabble in all the things: aerial, hoops, clown, dance, juggling and fire.

One of my favorite things to do is to introduce circus and yoga to people who haven't tried it before 🎪 and to support the supporters in our society. I think we sometimes expect a lot from them for a little (yoga teachers, social workers, therapists, nurses, non-profit leaders, community builders and Mummas). I also love to think deeply (philosophize 🤓), research, teach, and create circus with others.

I'm curious about the overlap of creativity, wellness and social change: the space from which CircAsana has grown 🌱 I look forward to using CircAsana as a platform to dive deeper into this 🦄
