This week's SCHS Pets of the Week are Odin and Ice. To make an appointment to meet them, call us at 608-356-2520.

Odin is a 1-year-old Siberian Husky mix who came to us as a stray and is ready to find a home of his own. Like many young Huskies, he's active, curious, and enjoys being outside. He already walks very well on a leash and is eager to keep learning with a family that can provide structure, consistency, and patience. Odin has a playful, independent personality and isn't afraid to let you know when he'd rather do things his own way, but he comes around with a little guidance. Because of his size and enthusiasm, he'd do best with older children and a home without cats. A fenced yard would be a great fit for this fun-loving guy. He is up to date on his vaccinations and will be neutered prior to adoption.

Ice is a 6-year-old torbie looking for a fresh start after being surrendered when her owner was moving and couldn't take her along. At first glance, you might expect a quieter, laid-back cat, but Ice still has plenty of energy and loves to play, explore, and stay busy. She'll often greet you with cheerful meows from her kennel, hoping you'll stop by for some attention. Ice loves human companionship and happily leans in for head rubs, making it clear just how much she enjoys being around people. She's also been wonderful with our youth volunteers, winning them over with her friendly personality and gentle nature. Treats and catnip are two of her favorite things, and they're an easy way to make this already happy cat even happier. Ice is a sweet, affectionate girl who is ready to find a family to love and a place to call home once again. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.
