Check out the BBQ day camp open to Nelson, Washington, and Marion County 4-H members. This will take place at the Marion County Extension Office on June 30th from 9:00a-1:00p.
Register by June 24th by calling the Marion County Extension Office at 270-692-2421.

As of today, June 9, all camper's parents or guardians attending Nelson County 4-H Camp this summer should have received an email reminder regarding camper orientations happening in July! If you did not receive an email today OR an invoice to make payment for your camper earlier in the year, please contact the Extension Office to make sure we have your correct contact information.

We are looking forward to the end of July for an exciting week at 4-H summer camp! 🍀

Nelson County 4-H was represented well at the Kentucky State 4-H Livestock Judging and the Kentucky State 4-H Dairy judging competitions!
Brady Matherly placed 2nd overall reasons, 3rd overall Holstein, and 4th high individual.
Morgan Mudd placed, 4th overall jr individual, 3rd overall jr individual beef cattle, and 6th overall jr individual sheep/goat.

The State Teen Council is gearing up for an incredible week at Teen Conference! Today, the Kentucky 4-H Foundation Board had the opportunity to share lunch and spend time getting to know these outstanding young leaders. Their passion, leadership, and dedication to Kentucky 4-H are truly inspiring and remind us why we continue working to create meaningful opportunities for 4-H youth across the Commonwealth. We can’t wait to see all they accomplish this week and beyond! 💚🍀

June 30th, 2026 at the Nelson County Extension Office.
The first session will be from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
The second session will be from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.

It is $10 per youth to sign up, this is a fundraiser for the Nelson County 4-H Teen Council.
