We are deeply saddened to share the passing of John Murphy, 'Murph' to those closest to him, co-founder of mTuitive, on February 4, 2026.

John's impact on healthcare technology was profound. A "reformed hospital CFO" who brought both financial acumen and genuine passion for improving patient care, he co-founded mTuitive in 2003 with Dr. William O'Toole to unlock medical knowledge and empower physicians with better insights.

But John was infinitely more than his impressive career. He was a friend to everyone he met—quick with a joke, eager to learn, and genuinely interested in the people around him. His endless curiosity, brilliant mind, and warm personality touched countless lives across the healthcare and software industries.
