The best life vest for the pool? None. After years of research and conversations with swim professionals:
I don’t recommend swim vests in pools.Life vests were never designed for pools. For toddlers, they can create muscle confusion. When kids get used to the water holding them up in a vest, their body starts to expect that same support when it’s gone.… which as we know is super dangerous. You know what life vests were designed for?
Oceans.
Rivers.
Bodies of water with a current.
Swim with your lovebug. It’s lifesaving.

We’re so excited to have Lillian join our instructor family.
Hi!! My name is Lillian and I’ve been swimming since the fourth grade. I began with summer swim lessons, then joined the OLOM Middle School team in the fifth grade. In high school, I made it onto the SJA swim team and competed for them for four years. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my swimming career and am thrilled to continue to share my passion for this sport in a new and exciting way through teaching kids at Lovebug!! Can’t wait to meet y’all soon!”
