Alright my friends...calling all Prayer Warriors! 1οΈβ£week from today I will undergo 2nd Open Heart Surgery and they will be replacing my descending aorta AKA Cardiothorasic Abdominal Surgery.
Yes, it is a Big Surgery and God has been preparing me for this moment Spiritually, Mentally and Physically. I'm ready to get it done and be healing. We will start our journey this wknd to Houston where the fabulous team of Dr.Coselli will perform this surgery and get me all decked out in new descending aorta with graft.
I cannot thank everyone enough for the prayers, support, sweet messages and thoughts for me and my family. Yall truly know how to keep this smile on. π₯° And, looking forward to be back home. My fabulous team will be here to serve all our peeps and have extra amazing agent friends to assist as well.
Many have asked what exactly is it? Here's a picture to best describe. The thoracic and abdominal aorta will be replaced. I have a 6.8 aneurisym currently that needs to be repaired. It grew silently and suddenly. Again, why those annual scans are super important ( I have done bi-annual for the last few years) as we have monitored both. Thank yall! Thank yall!! π

Such an incredible start to the XC Season! Watching Ethan and his buddies shine out there was awesome and my sweet Ana did amazing and the Cougars.
All the hard work, training all summer long and watching their time shave off. Ethan finished at 18.11 for 3οΈβ£ miles and earned him a Varsity spot for next meet.π Keep on doing what you love π§‘π€ Go Bears!!

πππ our sweet clients!πππ
Received a call π from a Past Client this morning she had a special delivery for me. She was bringing her homemade Tamales! β€οΈ
How coincidental it is... No, that is a angel wink...a sweet and sutle message from above. I hadn't spoken to her in a few months and get a call out the blue she's bringing me some this afternoon.
This was a hug from heaven I needed. π She is so grateful for what we did to help her on getting her precious home sold and closer to family and how much it impacted in a positive way. But the love and gratitude she has impacted me is also Tremendous!!
God is so good and powerful! He gives the strength in all things. Nothing is impossible even when it is HEAVY.

β€οΈToday is a HUGE milestone and blessing! God had special plans for me when he saved my life from my Aortic Dissection. I shouldn't of lived and I did. From there I managed life and changed lifestyle with different workouts, no competive races, triathlons, etc. My new competition was fighting for my life to live and grow old with my husband, watch my kids grow and for my sister and family. I went thru being depressed, mad at my new life until one day God opened my eyes to see clearly with his grace and my gratitude grew.
It's okay to have those days but dont dwell on them. It's always his timing above. People always ask what were you doing when it happened? I was coaching my son's 3rd grade Basketball game. I thought it was indigestion from Mexican food and took TUMS and toughed it thru until next morning where I was brought to hospital.
Fast forward after 4.5 years of monitoring I was told within 1-5 years it would be surgery time. I made it to the 4.5 year mark. You never want a surgery at this level to be an emergency surgery. Planned is always best and it was God's time to use his talented docs to perform my 12 hour surgery. It was supposed to be 2 separate procedures but God said no, we are knocking it out in one. Again, he saved my life a hidden aneurisym was forming behind my descending aorta. And, I really think he knew my hard head was already going to have a hard tome recovering because sitting still is not what I do well.
Today, I am here and feel healthier than ever. It was the absolute hardest thing I have ever done. I cried, the pain was worst than child birth and in the end it made me stronger. I absolutely couldn't have done it without him bringing me peace, grace, gratitude and without all of my family, friends and team. Yall were my cheerleaders when I was on rhe verge of breaking down.
I shared a picture of my scar below for 1st time and now wear it proudly in my clothes. As it is there and the result of me living. Call it a zipper, scar, or whatever. I call it a mark from God giving me life.
Get those hearts checked, they are silent! I wear red today for all my β€οΈ survivors.

What a week!! Celebrating two HUGE chapters for my sweethearts. My β€οΈ and mind are finally processing the joy, gratitude and complete awe of them. There have been so many that have helped support and been a helping hand and shoulder to lean, cry or laugh on. Im surely forever thankful for my husband, sister and my guardian angel, Mamacita and counting my blessings π
