We were honored to receive a 2025 Good Growth Award for Rivermark 185 Phase I, a project developed by Brossett Companies and JRE Capital. How diversified is your investment portfolio? Are you currently invested (directly) Commercial Real Estate? If not, why not?

Reason # 1 - Diversification

Commercial Real Estate has an historically LOW correlation to other asset classes (primarily, the stock market). This provides a potential hedge against bear markets, as CRE has traditionally held its value better than other asset classes. Note on the graphic below that public REITs do NOT provide the same level of diversification as direct CRE ownership - they have a much closer correlation to equities.
