We’re proud to sponsor Assess the Need as Assessor Jeff Taylor and local volunteers kick off the 26th year of this parish-wide school supply program! 🎒✏️

This incredible effort helps provide school supplies for Livingston Parish students who need a little extra support heading into the new school year. This year, the program is expected to help about 3,200 students across all 43 public schools, including Pre-K and Head Start programs.

Volunteers will be collecting donations at participating Associated Grocers stores across the parish on July 31, Aug. 1, Aug. 7, and Aug. 8.

The Livingston Parish News is proud to support a program that brings our community together for such an important cause — helping students start the school year prepared and ready to learn.
