Meet Kelsey Jenkins — a passionate criminal defense attorney dedicated to protecting your rights at every stage of the legal process. ⚖️

Kelsey Jenkins is a criminal defense attorney with a passion for justice. With experience in pardons and
parole for life-sentenced defendants, she understands the importance of zealous representation before
and during trial. At every stage of the criminal legal process, Kelsey’s primary goal is ensuring that your
rights are protected.

Kelsey was born and raised in rural Louisiana, and she has lived in Baton Rouge since 2015. She is an avid
LSU Football and Women’s Basketball fan. Kelsey spends her free time reading, cooking, hiking, trying
new hobbies, and hanging out with her cats and her dog Ruth Bader Ginsbark.

A first-generation college student, Kelsey fulfilled her lifelong goal of attending LSU to obtain a
Bachelor’s degree in Sociology as part of the first class of LSU’s 3+3 Pre-Law Program. She then earned a
Juris Doctor degree and a graduate diploma in Comparative Law from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law
Center, where she completed experiential courses such as the Parole & Reentry Clinic and the Juvenile
Defense Clinic, an apprenticeship in Prosecuting and Defending Federal Criminal Trials, and a Criminal
Litigation Practice course. These courses gave Kelsey hands-on experience, allowing her to develop her
advocacy skills and represent clients – all before graduating from law school.
