Plywood roof decking was not properly installed over the rafters, leaving sections unsupported.
This is not a minor defect — this is a serious structural concern. Roof decking must be fully supported and securely fastened to the framing system to ensure proper strength and durability. When it’s not, it can lead to:
• Roof sagging

This installation method is considered improper and does not meet current safety standards. Flexible connectors are intended for direct connection to appliances only and must remain exposed and readily accessible.
Improper installation can create a potential gas leak and fire hazard.
