Did you know coffee was a stimulant? Caffeine is a central nervous system stimulant and the most commonly consumed legal, psychoactive substance….Because after 9am the day of your sleep study we ask you to stay away from all caffeine’s and stimulants like chocolate etc. or if it’s a prescription stimulant like ADHD medications we ask you to stay off at least 1 week prior to study. But the morning after study you can resume your caffeine.
