Thank you to everyone who turned out to walk in yesterday's Greater Baton Rouge Hunger Walk. It was a beautiful day, walking together to raise money for a great cause, and to increase awareness about hunger in Baton Rouge. Special thanks to our corporate sponsors, Syngenta and CocaCola -Baton Rouge,as well as to Charles DeGravelles for providing live music. WAFB Channel 9 also stopped by to help us tell the story about hunger in Baton Rouge with the attached video.
Walkers take steps to end hunger The Interfaith Federation of Greater Baton Rouge held its annual Hunger Walk at the Catholic Charities center Sunday, Nov. 10. Over a hundred people attended the walk which helps to raise money and awareness for families with food shortages.
