Workforce-ready and competition-bound.

The Louisiana delegation gathered for dinner in Atlanta tonight as students from Louisiana Community and Technical Colleges prepare to participate in the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference and SkillsUSA Championships.

Over the next several days, these young professionals will join thousands of students from across the country to learn, lead, compete and showcase the skills our workforce needs.

We’re proud to cheer them on as they represent Louisiana on a national stage!

A $50,000 grant from the Drax Group US Foundation is helping Louisiana Community and Technical Colleges expand STEM scholarships and workforce pathways across the state. The investment supports students pursuing high-demand careers while creating hands-on STEM and manufacturing opportunities for future generations of Louisiana’s workforce.
