Southern University System continues expanding its global impact. Interim President Dr. Orlando F. McMeans recently met with leaders in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis to strengthen partnerships in higher education, agriculture, research and workforce development.

Over the weekend, the Washington, D.C. SU Alumni Chapter hosted its annual Summer Sizzle event, highlighting Interim President Dr. Orlando F. McMeans’ continued support of the Southern University alumni.

The event also honored Ret. Col. Paris Davis, a distinguished alumnus and Congressional Medal of Honor recipient, and included the presentation of two one-time Presidential Scholarships to support students entering and returning to the Southern University System.
