Becky Murillo has been creating since childhood. She learned to sew from her grandmothers, Gloria, a seamstress and entrepreneur for over 40 years and Jilma, who at 84 continues to sew, knit, crochet, and make handmade beaded hairpieces.

Creative ability and the desire to make people happy runs deep in Becky's family. From her mother who was a seamstress for 15 years, her aunt Mildred, who paints portraits, and her cousins who work as seamstresses and artists, she is proud of her lineage.

Becky's illustrious career started as Health and Safety Coordinator and Donor Relations/Event Coordinator for the American Red Cross. For seven years she assisted with financial development and marketing, including the ordering of promotional items. She continued her marketing efforts as the Business Development Coordinator at a national engineering firm as well as Greenup Industries, a successful regional industrial maintenance company.

"While working with Greenup, I gained a wealth of experience helping people get what they want. This is where the concept of 'As You Please' was born. We were purchasing promotional shirts from one location, hats from another, getting our logos embroidered from two other places and another place for glassware and awards. I wanted to provide businesses with a one-stop-shop for all their promotional needs," says Becky Murillo.

After attending Tulane University for Business Management, in 2015, Becky completed a TruFund/Regions Women in Business Course and graduated from the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute program. In 2016, combining her eye for design, attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile to please her customers, she started "As You Please".

The focus of "As You Please" is to give customers quality merchandise, personalized the way they want at competitive prices. "I realize how much I love the craft and creativity in this industry. From corporate logos to monogrammed personal items, we can do it all. It is our goal to be diverse and all-inclusive for families and businesses and give people what they want, when they want it," she says.

Becky is proud to have her designs spread professionalism throughout the Gulf South and wants to do her part to keep morale high in businesses as well as non-profit organizations.
