The Louisiana

The Spanish moss draping from the branches adds a quiet magic to the scene. Across the South, people often describe these moss-covered oaks as mystical and deeply emotional, giving landscapes a timeless feeling. In my artwork, the moss softens the light and creates a dreamlike atmosphere, almost as if the trees themselves are whispering old Louisiana stories.

Mardi Gras 2026

This photo came across my fb timeline. I knew in an instant I had to attempt to paint it. It was a challenge to keep the Drum Major as the focal point and still keep the movement of the Mardi Gras celebration. I love painting real life, Most of my paintings are of photos my friends have taken while traveling.
