Edward Lowe Foundation continues to support Entrepreneurs through its programs. I have been fortunate enough to be a part of this resource.

This week the American Academy of Entrepreneurs gained 12 inductees from the state of Louisiana!

Hosted in partnership with Louisiana Economic Development (LED), this mentoring program provides entrepreneurs with a kick-off retreat and six months of one-on-one sessions with their mentor or mentee.

Inductees included: Monica Wolf of LATECH Security + Surveillance, Tameka Young of MOR Logistics &Environmental Services LLC, Stan Prutz of QDS Systems, Tania Zachari of Techniques International Corp., Matt Amoss of Craft Kettle Brewing Equipment, Franziska Trauttman of Glass Half Full, Richard Raue of HiTech Computers, John Williams of JCW Creative, Travis Terrebonne of Gengatorz Power Systems, LaDarby Williams of germslayers, Brandon Foreman of Family Resource Group Inc and Meg Baird of NOLA DMC.

Congratulations to our newest AAE members and thank you for dedicating your time to this program!

We’d also like to thank Tom Martin for serving as our Entrepreneur Emeritus throughout this experience, as well as Maddie Duplantis for representing our partners at LED.

At LaTech, security goes beyond technology - it’s about protecting lives. Our team recently participated in the Louisiana Life Safety & Security Association (LLSSA) February Regional Meeting, where industry leaders came together to share knowledge and enhance safety practices.

Monica Wolf, LaTech’s Region 2 VP for LLSSA, helped host the event, which included important industry updates from Louisiana State Fire Marshal Bryan Adams and hands-on CPR training, reinforcing the importance of life-saving skills in our field.

Events like these help us stay at the forefront of security and safety. We’re proud to be part of a community that values continuous learning and collaboration!
