Today, we remember BRPD’s Corporal Montrell Jackson and Officer Matthew Gerald who were fatally attacked in the line of duty on July 17, 2016.
May their legacies forever live on in the hearts of all of those they protected.

🏆Several BRPD Officers were notably recognized at this year's LA MADD (Mother Against Drunk Driving) Awards, along with other Law Enforcement Professionals throughout the state. The group of distinguished Officers were acknowledged for their over 3,000 combined DWI Arrests in 2025.
