ATTEMPTING TO IDENTIFY - SHOOTING INVESTIGATION

Detectives with the Baton Rouge Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual in the attached photographs.

Investigators believe this individual is connected to a shooting that occurred on May 22, 2026, around
1:30 p.m. in the 11600 block on Tams Drive. The victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries at the time of the incident.

Baton Rouge Police Department Traffic Homicide Division arrested Latrisha Jackson, 43, for her involvement in the death of Kion Jackson, 7. Kion died from injuries sustained in a head-on traffic crash that occurred on March 24, 2026, in the 4100 block of Florida Blvd.

Latrisha Jackson turned herself in to law enforcement authorities and was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of Vehicular Homicide, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, Reckless Operation of a Vehicle, Child Passenger Restraint System violations, Operating a Vehicle While License Suspended, and Security Required.
