After many years working alongside school districts across Louisiana, We've learned that successful summer projects are rarely about cleaning alone. The real challenge is coordinating people, schedules, vendors, maintenance projects, furniture moves, technology upgrades, and countless moving parts within a very short window before students return.

We appreciate LSFMA for providing a platform to share some of the lessons we've learned in the field. It's an honor to contribute to an organization dedicated to supporting the professionals who keep our schools operating safely and efficiently.

Thank you to all of the facility managers, custodial teams, maintenance departments, and school leaders who make these summer resets possible. Your work often happens behind the scenes, but its impact is felt by every student and educator who walks through those doors on the first day of school.
