A beautiful morning to deliver sod to the baseball field!
If you're project allows you to, this is a good time to sod. The grass is sleeping, needs very little water and prices are lower than they will be in the Spring. Give us a call or text! Karen is ready to help you! 225-610-4842
We get a lot of questions about laying sod in the Winter. If your project needs sod, go ahead and lay it now. Sod will go dormant in the Winter, but it will wake up with all the other grasses in the Spring.
Install, water well immediately, then enjoy the lack of mud and dust. Much easier than the daily watering required when it's hot. Contractors/Landscapers love this aspect of Winter.
Prices are less in the Winter than the Spring!
