Louisiana State Animal Response Team - LSART

We were at Iberville Parish Library Hot Diggity Dog event teaching about who animal control is, what they do, bite prevention, and training with the Louisiana Capital City Obedience Club. Finn, a therapy and AKC ambassador dog, also demonstrated scent work, and one of his friends from Bayou Buddies Pet Therapy was there to help.

One of our volunteers son had collected donations for his lenten project and was able to donate them at the event to the Iberville Parish Shelter and Animal Control ! How cool is that.

If you took our slack water course and still don't have your LA state boaters license, this is a great opportunity!

If you were born after 1984, you are required to have a boaters license in Louisiana. The course if free and offered in person or online.

📌𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀?
Anyone born after Jan. 1, 1984 must complete a National Association of State Boating Law Administrators-approved course to legally operate a motorboat over 10 horsepower. (Honestly, it’s a smart move for any boater.)
