Last week marked an end of an era in Bears Basketball as Head Coach Byron Starks stepped down to start a new chapter in his career. We would like to extend our gratitude to Coach Starks for his achievements in rebuilding the Bears basketball program and, more importantly his dedication to the development of young men over the past three years.

BRCC Athletics mourns the passing of Hall of Fame Coach Roger Cador.

We were honored to recognize Coach Cador with Roger Cador Day in 2023 and celebrate his extraordinary impact on baseball and our community. His legacy as a coach, mentor, and leader will continue to inspire generations of student-athletes.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, former players, and the entire Southern University community.
