This week, members of the Louisiana State University Police Department had the honor of welcoming and housing the Tunnel to Towers Foundation tribute as it passed through Baton Rouge and LSU before continuing their tour.
As we approach the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, this tribute serves as a reminder that the memory of that day, and the sacrifice that followed will never fade. We remember the innocent lives taken, the courage of the first responders who answered the call without hesitation, and the families who continue to carry that loss with them each day.
It was a privilege for our department to support this journey and to take a moment to reflect on the bravery, service, and sacrifice that continue to unite our nation nearly 25 years later. Honored to be one of the two college campuses visited on this journey. πππ

The voices behind the scenes that make everything we do possible. Our Communications Officers are the first to answer when someone in our community needs help and the constant support our officers rely on in the field.
They handle every call with focus, professionalism, and care no matter the situation. Weβre grateful for the work they do every day and for the trust our community places in them.
Happy National Public Safety Telecommunications Week!
