Today we pray in thanksgiving for the life and service of our diocese's shepherd, Bishop Michael Duca. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.

Happy Birthday, Bishop Duca!

"After converting to the Catholic faith in 2012, I was told by many different people that I would be a priest one day. It was something that I denied interiorly while responding with a gentle, “If God wills it.” I asked God to give me the desire for priesthood if it was truly what He wanted, because I surely did not want it. The thought of the priesthood slipped into the back of my mind for a few years, and I began to focus more on coming to know who God was and who I was in His eyes. Long story short, there came a moment when I truly believed that I was His son and in that moment He invited me to be His priest."
