In the second year of the curriculum, the department teaches pharmacology and in the third year, a course in clinical toxicology.
Dear Colleagues,
We are excited to invite you to participate in the International Symposium on Epigenetic Inheritance, taking place July 15–17 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
This interdisciplinary meeting will bring together researchers, trainees, and thought leaders to discuss emerging discoveries in epigenetic inheritance across model systems, evolution, and human health.
Symposium themes include:
• Germline mechanisms of epigenetic transmission
• RNA-mediated and chromatin-based inheritance
• Plasticity and reprogramming in offspring
• Evolutionary consequences of non-genetic inheritance
• Epigenetic variation in human health and disease
We are honored to feature a keynote presentation from Dr. Isabelle Mansuy (University of Zurich):
“How Life Experiences Can Influence Us and Our Descendants: An Epigenetic Perspective”
We warmly encourage students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty, and investigators to submit abstracts presenting their latest research. This symposium offers an exciting opportunity to share your work, engage with leaders in the field, and foster new collaborations within the epigenetics community.
Whether your research focuses on fundamental mechanisms, translational biology, development, inheritance, evolution, or disease, we welcome your contributions.
Join us in Baton Rouge this July to explore the future of epigenetic inheritance research.
Please feel free to share this announcement with colleagues, trainees, and collaborators who may be interested.
