What’s one win (big or small) from this year you’re proud of?

One win I’m especially proud of this year was our Staff Senate School Supplies Drive. It was a reminder that small acts of service can make a big impact. Seeing staff come together to support one another and help provide resources for families was incredibly meaningful. It reflected the heart of Staff Senate, connection, care, and a commitment to service. Don’t forget to email [email protected] if you’d like to have a donation box by 7/10/26.

What does serving the staff community mean to you day to day?

Serving the staff community means listening, advocating, and showing up even when the work isn’t always visible or fully understood by everyone. It means building relationships, amplifying staff voices, supporting colleagues, and working to create a community where staff feel valued, respected, and empowered. Service is about doing what’s right for the people you represent, staying committed to the mission.
