🚨 IRS UPDATE: HUB TESTING IS LIVE 🚨

Let me break this down clear & simple ⬇️

Every year BEFORE the IRS officially opens tax season, they allow tax software companies to transmit a limited number of returns to test the IRS system.

👉🏽 That process is called HUB TESTING.

Here’s what you need to know 👇🏽

✔️ Returns are NOT transmitted every day
✔️ Only random returns are sent in test batches
✔️ Nobody can tell you which returns go first — it’s random
✔️ Some returns may show updates today
✔️ Some may show no status yet

⚠️ IMPORTANT:
If your return hasn’t been accepted yet, that does NOT mean something is wrong.
It most likely just hasn’t been transmitted in a batch yet.

Let’s clear up a BIG misconception 👇🏽
❌ Submitting first does NOT mean getting paid first.

Now about refunds ⏳

🔹 If you DO NOT have EITC or ACTC, once accepted you’re typically looking at the normal 8–21 day IRS processing window. Some people may start seeing deposits by the end of the month.

🔹 If you DO have EITC or ACTC, your refund cannot be released before February 15 — that’s federal law (PATH Act). It does not matter how early you file.

Hub Testing is exactly what it sounds like — a test.
Because it’s a test batch, delays, rejections, or system errors can happen.
👉🏽 Don’t panic.

Once your return is submitted and accepted by the IRS, it’s officially out of the tax preparer’s hands. From there, it’s IRS processing time — stay informed and be patient.
