Soooo I took a spring cleaning social media break to snap my brain out of the comparison game (creatives know that struggle is so real), but that also means none of my lovely spring 2025 seniors got posted and that just won’t do!

So here’s to a firecracker of an English major, a stellar nap under those big campus oaks, and the most joyful champagne pop reaction :)

We wandered through the New Orleans Botanical Garden on a winter afternoon that felt more like a secret spring. The light, the greenery, the stillness of it all—it was unreal.

But what made this session stick with me? The way they tuned out the world and just clicked into their own rhythm. Quiet moments, real connection, zero pressure.

So beyond honored to photograph this chapter for my stepbrother and his soon-to-be wife (!!). If this is the vibe for their engagement session? That 2026 wedding is already iconic.

I’ve been dreaming of shooting at Afton Villa Gardens forever—and when A + G said yes to the location, I knew it was going to be something special. Between the winding hedges, timeless statues, and that soft Louisiana light? It was magic.

It’s wild how a place this grand can feel so personal when the right people step into it.

These two had me laughing nonstop—sweet on each other in that quiet, goofy, genuine kind of way that makes the photos effortless. The dunes in Mandeville gave us this soft, golden, “lost in time” vibe, and honestly? If this is just the engagement session, I cannot wait for the wedding day.

Funny enough, Nicole and I actually went to high school together, so it’s extra special to cross paths again for something this meaningful. Getting to tell stories like this—ones that feel personal, joyful, and grounded in real connection—is the part of this job that never gets old.

Still a little while to go before the big “I do,” but the vibes are already immaculate ✨

When I tell y’all this session made my heart absolutely glow! This graduate session is not the first time I’ve taken photos for Miss Catherine! I had the pleasure of taking her Senior Photos for her undergrad at LSU as well. She may be an Alabama Grad now as well (we’ll forgive her for that), but I was absolutely thrilled to see her again and celebrate her newest accomplishment :)
